A How To | Hot Chocolate Jars

Hi friends!

Today I have a fun little DIY for you to do and it'll only take a bit of time and can even be done on a budget!

A couple nights ago, a friend & I got together to create these little gifts! I love this idea because it keeps on giving throughout the year. They turned out great and were so easy! It took us no time to get all 18 of them done!

What you will need;

  • Mason Jars/Jars
  • Hot Chocolate (any flavour you want)
  • Chocolate Chips
  • Marshmallows
  • Crushed/Whole Candy Canes (optional)

Lets get to it!

Step 1: Get your jars & supplies ready, crush your candy canes (if you choose).

Step 2: Put an even amount of your choice of hot chocolate in each jar.

Step 3: Add in a layer of chocolate chips (you could even try white or butterscotch chips for a different flavour!).

Step 4: Add in a layer of marshmallows, I love marshmallows so I add in a lot!  (who doesn't love marshmallows & hot chocolate!). Yummy!

Step 5: Sprinkle your crushed candy canes on top! (or if you want you can keep them whole and attach them to the finished jar!).

Close up your lid and finish it off with a Christmas tag and your all set!

So versatile and only a few dollars a finished jar, who can go wrong with that! If your stumped or your giving away home made gifts this year this is a great go to and one of mine I always turn to! Easy & quick to make you can do these by yourself or with a friend (which I choose to do, by the fire side might I add :))

Thanks to my friend who let me take shots of her as she modeled each step!

Let me know if you make any of your own!! How do you make yours?
