7 Ways To Organize Your Life | A Worksheet + A Special Announcement

Organization has become a serious thing, everyone has been on the organizing train for some time. It makes you feel so good and free, getting rid of things you don't need or things that have been bothering you. Making space for the things that matter most and what you need.Today I am going to show you 7 ways on how to start to organize your life.

Your Finances: Organizing your finances can be a dozy. If your like me getting bills in the mail is no fun experience. Try to think about either going all online or if you love writing & calculating you can have it in books! You can read about going digital here, Abby from Just A Girl And Her Blog is stellar with organization.

Your Bills: Have a in and out tray at the ready. Put all the new bills received in the in tray and all ones that have been paid in the out tray. Make reminders for yourself in your calendar or on your phone when you need to make a payment or if a payment comes out etc..

Your Chore's: Create a chore's list or a chore's calendar then make a dedicated spot to have it hanging. Break it into categories and give each person a job, that will make it easier to keep track and have everyone help out.

Your Wants & Needs: Make a list and figure out what you want in your home vs what you need in your home. Create a priority list with the dates you want to achieve them by and put it in your calendar. This will then give you a timeline and a jumpstart to get you in gear, to finish or start a project.

Your Emails: Space out time in your morning routine or day to catch up on those emails and missed messages from the day before. Don't stress if you don't get everything done, it's ok to just bring it to the next day and move on. If you have trouble changing tasks try setting a timer on your phone or a reminder when it's time to move on to the next task.

Your Family Time: This is an important one whether its game night , a date night, movie night etc. Plan out a specific day or time each day when it's downtime. Where you shut off and really enjoy the people around you, this will rejuvenate you and get you ready feeling refreshed for your next task or day.

Your Daily Plan: Create a daily plan, with all your to-do's for the day and then time block them. I read about it here and I am SUPER intrigued. It will give you time to really get what you need to get done for the day. Plus if your like me it will keep you focused on one task at a time. I am one of those jumping beans, where I will be on one thing and remember another thing and stop half way through that task and then start the new task and so on and so on. #whew Ending in a not so good longer to-do list or half done projects.
