Behind The Scenes | A Day In The Life

Hi sweet friends,

I thought I'd take it a little behind the scenes today for some fun! Here's a look in the day of little old me.

Monday - Friday

6:00/7:00am: Get up, workout and shower!

7:00am/8:00am: Tea with honey, Breakfast & leave for work.

9:00am - 5:00pm: Work at full-time receptionist job (maybe also secretly work on my blogging too ;))

5:00pm - 6:00pm: Workout (if not done in the morning) tidy up apartment, get lunches ready for the next day.

6:00pm - 9:00pm: Relax, blog work either write posts, create blog graphics, do admin work.

9:00pm - 10:00pm: Get ready for bed and spend a little down time with my other half.

10:00pm onwards: Sleepy time.

8:00am/9:00am: Sleep in a bit, get up and do morning workout.

9:00am/10:00am: Shower & get ready.

11:00am: Grocery shop (on some Saturdays) or morning errands that weren't done during the week.

12:00am - 4:00pm: Blog work, adventures with the fiancé, outings, hanging out with friends etc.

4:00pm - 6:00pm: Dinner, relaxation or getting ready to go out (if planned).

6:00pm - 10:00pm: More blog work or out and about (if planned).

10:00pm onwards: Sleepy time.

8:00am/9:00am: Up and get that workout in.

9:00am - 11:00am: a little bit more leisurely day, shower & get ready (sometimes I don't, hey it's Sunday if nothings planned why not relax!).

11:00am - 3:00pm: lunch, blog work, chores, clean apartment, meal prep, getting things ready for the week ahead.

3:00pm - 7:00pm: relaxing, movie watching, blog work, dinner, catching up on missed shows or emails.

7:00pm-10:00pm: Quality time with the boy and watching our Sunday shows, get ready for bed.

10:00pm/11:00pm: Sleepy time.

I know that seems just like any other day but sometimes its a little crazy! I amaze myself on how I get everything done sometimes, working full time and running a blog can sometimes drain you. If it's something you want, love or strive for you can do anything.

One of my secrets is I follow a weekly chores printable I created so the "chores" days don't seem as overwhelming. For example:

Monday: Dishes & Tidy Kitchen (empty/fill dishwasher)

Tuesday: Clean & Wash Sheets and remake bed

Wednesday: Take out trash & recycling

Thursday: Dust & Windex

Friday: Vacuum & Wash Floors & Laundry

Saturday & Sunday: Enjoy the weekend!

I tell ya if I follow this every week my week seems to feel less daunting and more productive. I also make lists for everything, it keeps me organized and helps me remember everything I have to do in the day. If I didn't I'm not sure where I'd be!

Also another secret is for my blogging I do separate things on separate days for example;

Monday; Graphics

Tuesday; Write & check posts to go live

Wednesday; Post goes live, write weekly letters

Thursday; Blog or admin work

Friday; Post goes live, check weekly letter & schedule to go out sunday

Saturday & Sunday; Enjoy the weekend!

I tend to spread it out so it doesn't seem as daunting over the week! Then I feel like I have more space to enjoy the little things, it reduces the stress and I have more downtime! Scheduling & writing a head of time helps me stay creative, on track and allows me that MUCH needed downtime.
